Professionally Staffed by Volunteers Who Are Your Neighbors
Volunteer Members are on call 24 Hours a Day, 365 Days a Year
Each year the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Department responded to over 1000 emergencies including structure fires, automobile extrications and fires, brush fires, carbon monoxide alarms, gas leaks, water rescues, commercial and residential fire alarms and EMS calls.
Responding Instantly for your Protection
We are just a phone call away. Just Dial 9-1-1 in any emergency and we will respond.
Saving you Tax Dollars
As a VOLUNTEER Fire Department we save you and your neighbors well over $1 Million Dollars per year by providing full service fire protection without the tax burden of a comparably equipped fully paid career fire department.
Who pays of all this?
We rely on your generous contributions and those of your neighbors and local businesses, during our annual fund drive to cover nearly all of our expenses. Those expenses include the fire station, vehicles, emergency supplies, tools, training, and utilities.
What can you do? We’re always looking for new members. If you are interested in finding out more stop by any Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM for one of our drill nights. Don’t have the time or interest, please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
